This is what happens with friendship on the field

Recap of September 2022
Our newest employee is actually a local believer
The Argan oil business we acquired came with an employee.
She's a believer. We didn't have enough work for her in the office. But we wanted to bless her by continuing her employment.
And she knows how to cook...really well.
For now she rotates to the houses of team members to cook and clean.

One of our favorite things for her to make is a local street bread called Msmn (Masimmin if you're from where I'm from)
She is part of a small group of ladies who meet weekly in our team leaders' house
They read the word together and are in the early stages of becoming a church. This is truly amazing.
• Our nanny
• The employee mentioned above
• A gal who started a baking company
...and others are gathering for this group
Please pray for the continued spiritual growth of this group.
Brock begins French school with a brother in Christ

It wasn't an easy decision.
But it is the right one. Brock and his buddy are the only two Americans. It is such a blessing that they can be together.
Brock prides himself in being the fastest one at recess.
Recess guards changed the rules for cops and robbers to: Brock versus everyone. He still doesn't get caught.
Please pray that he continues develop new friendships and grow in his new language.
Shipping and customs teach us patience and persistence

There are a lot of government offices.
It feels like we've visited most of them. Bart and I have spent a lot of time together at the import/export bays at the airport. Good thing he has an incredible sense of humor.
Things with customs are moving along, but we went another route to send the first shipment.
I met a new friend during our government office visits

"A" speaks English well.
He helped us at the Bureau of Artisanal Goods. His shop is nearby and saw that we needed help with clarity. He jumped in and helped us make the necessary connections to get the proper form.
Please pray for my new friend "A"...that he would experience Jesus as we grow in our friendship.
Love in Christ,
Ryan & Mandie
P.S. We're so grateful for your financial support and prayers.
It allows us to be here long enough for friendships and discipleship to flourish. The Gospel is being broadly sown. We are here to walk alongside new believers and continue to point them back to the word.
Small gatherings are beginning and we are grateful.
For year end giving:
Will you please invest $1 or more in the long term work of making disciples among the unreached?
