Deadline for what?

Just one tiny thing before we get into that…

Have you ever had a year end face-plant?

It’s when you run hard till the end of the year in all parts of life.

You approach the finish line (which is also another starting line, LOL) and you run out of gas…you fall flat on your face literally or figuratively.

It sounds dramatic, but it feels real.

In 2023 we ran hard for…

Our family
The Kingdom
Our team mates
Local friendships
Earthquake response
Our business platform

…and we’re ready to do a face-plant. (We’re also encouraged)

We’ll share a 2023 recap in January. A digital photo album too. If you’ve been following along, you know it’s been a big year of challenges and blessings.

When you’re exhausted, how do you keep going?

I’ll tell you what we do…what we try to do…

First, we rely on Jesus (through extended closeness with him). And a time of refreshing with likeminded people.

For the new year, we’re gathering offsite with other workers to:

Dream together
Celebrate together
Encourage each other
Pray for the lost together
Listen for God’s lead together

God is giving us clarity for 2024. He is trusting us with big and important things. We look forward to sharing details soon.

For now though…

We have a great need to enter this next year in strength and health.

That’s why I’m writing this email.

We need your folded hands, bent knees and willing wallets.

Before morning, you can still help for 2023 (and get potential deductions). The deadline is midnight tonight.
